BEECEE CHERRY BLOSSOM
DOB: 08/12/2022
Cherry has to be the sweetest and most placid natured border collie we have here at Beecee Border Collies and is very much loved by our whole family. She loves cuddles, belly rubs and just being with you,.
This litter was four years in the making when I first met Cherry's sire "Dreamwood Red Ryleigh" at the 2019 Border Collie Nationals in Sydney NSW. I instantly fell in love with Ryleigh and we sincerely thank both Donna and Peter Schmelitschek of Dreamwood Border Collies for their support in this breeding.
Born from our beloved Ruby (Beecee Rarer Than Rubies) and being Rubies last ever litter, we decided to keep a girl from her and we couldn't be more pleased. Ruby is also extremely happy that she has her daughter with her here on the farm. We often see them doing zoomies together or leaping and playing together for hours.
Cherry has already had some great results in the show ring awarded best opposite baby puppy in show at the Border Collie Club of SA breed specialty show under breed specialist Mrs. Janice Baldwin in May 2023.
Cherry went on to be awarded Best Baby of Show in June 2023 in the Border Collie Club of SA Specialty Show under Mr. Yoshio Mori (Japan) .
She was also awarded Best Opposite Junior of Show under breed specialist Sue Chaytor (NZ) at the 2024 Border Collie Club of SA breed specialty
And recently, Cherry was awarded 3rd best coloured female of Australia at the 6th Borer Collie Nationals show in Durak Qld under judge Ms Iwona Przerwoska (Poland) September 2024.
We could not be more proud of our young red head.
Temperament: We find Cherry and her siblings to be really placid and easy to get along with. They honestly were the easiest litter we have ever raised. She is very soft and sweet and likes to look deeply into your eyes when you pat her - a true sweetheart.
Cherry is DNA clear of all testable disease known to the border collie (except a carrier of Glaucoma only)
