OUR STORY

Beecee border collies is a small rural kennel nestled south of Adelaide in South Australia.

Before stepping into the world of conformation showing and breeding, we spent several years competing in herding and agility on both state and national circuits — often with rescued farm dogs who had been left behind but quickly stole our hearts.

​

My passion for the breed has always been part of me, and in 2015, I took the leap to turn my dreams into reality. I welcomed my first ANKC-registered girl, ‘Honey’ — pictured here competing at the 2019 Adelaide Royal — who sparked my love for conformation showing and later, breeding.

We place the highest value on temperament, trainability, soundness, and versatility. Our breeding program is guided by a commitment to produce healthy Border Collies that meet breed standards and thrive in family environments — with temperament always at the forefront of our decisions.

All of our dogs undergo comprehensive DNA panel testing, along with hip and elbow scoring, before being considered for breeding.

As a passionate Border Collie enthusiast, I have a deep appreciation for well-bred dogs and a special interest in studying pedigrees and canine health.

When not in the show ring, I proudly serve on the Border Collie Club of SA Committee as the Puppy Liaison Officer and as Secretary for the National Border Collie Council of Australia.​
